President Trump announces new battleship class for U.S. Navy [full]
President Donald Trump on Monday announced a new battleship class for the U.S. Navy, called Trump-class battleships. Trump, who has previously criticized the appearance of Navy warships, expects the U.S. government to acquire 25 new vessels. Trump made the announcement alongside Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Navy Secretary John Phelan from Mar-a-Lago.
