Toy drive launched to support refugee families impacted by ICE activity
A local toy drive is underway to support refugee families impacted by increased ICE activity. Alight U.S. Enterprise Marketing and Engagement Manager Jo Haugen explains that many families are afraid to leave their homes and are in need of safe, engaging activities for children. Alight is collecting art supplies, puzzles, LEGOs, games and other items during its Kids Drive at the organization’s Minneapolis office tomorrow, February 2, and February 4 from 9 a.m. to noon. More information is available at wearealight.org.
