1st juror selected to sit on jury in Derek Chauvin trial

After questioning from both prosecutors and defense attorneys, the first juror was selected to sit on the jury in the trial for Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged in the death of George Floyd. Prosecutors and defense attorneys will continue to question and challenge potential jurors until they can seat a 12-person jury, with four alternates.
