The Cathedral of St. Paul will be the canvas for a large-scale light show
Tonight is the United States debut of a very unique light show that’s gained a following in Europe. Murals depicting the Christmas story will be projected on to the front of the Cathedral of St. Paul and set to music. ‘Cathedral Illuminated: The Manger’ runs 12 minutes and will be shown on a continuous loop from 6 to 9 p.m., Dec. 17 - 19, 2020. It’ll play on the eastern side of the Cathedral. Officers from the Saint Paul Police Department will direct traffic one-way heading north along Summit Avenue and allow vehicles to stop temporarily in front of the Cathedral to watch the show. Spectators must remain in their vehicles at all times. If you can’t make it to the show, it will be live streamed on the Cathedral Heritage Foundation’s Facebook page from 6 to 7:30pm, Dec. 17 – 19th.
