YMCA Beacon program keeps students engaged in after school programs through pandemic

After school programs provide a lot of support for kids, but the pandemic made many worry about how kids would do without them. The YMCA’s Beacon program is still doing well, however at Edison High School. Nikki Bye, the Beacons Center director, shared with FOX 9 how the program is pushing on despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The YMCA in Minneapolis serves a total of about 4,000 students in the Beacon program.
