Nisswa city council held a meeting to address the conduct of the mayor
The Nisswa City Council held a special meeting this morning to address the conduct of Mayor Jennifer Carnahan. Several people voiced concerns about a 'toxic' work environment with Mayor Carnahan. The mayor did not attend the meeting but released a statement in response to the meeting. "No evidence of wrongdoing was presented. No specific code violations were identified before the meeting was called. No due process was offered. Instead, residents and council members aired personal opinions and political disagreements under the guise of official concern." Carnahan said in the statement.
