Teens create app for IV treatment support
Sitting through long medical appointments can be uncomfortable, lonely, and boring. For Luke Wachowiak, a high school student from Minnesota, this experience was all too familiar as he spent five hours receiving treatments for an autoimmune condition. Determined to make a difference, Luke teamed up with his friend Logan Bracken to create an app called "Together I-V". The app aims to provide support and companionship to individuals undergoing IV treatments, offering a platform for users to connect with others going through similar experiences. Luke and Logan recently appeared on FOX 9 Good Day to discuss their app and how it works.
