Governor Tim Walz proclaimed May 31 ? June 1, 2025 Girls on the Run Weekend in Minnesota. 5K runs celebrating the GOTR season take place Saturday, May 31 at the State fairgrounds, and Sunday, June 1, in Duluth and Rochester. Executive Director Kathleen Cannon joined the FOX 9 Morning News ahead of the run to share how the fun and opportunities for girls have expanded.
