An AI-generated version of Christopher Pelkey, a man killed in a 2021 road rage incident, appeared in a video shown at his killer’s sentencing. Stacey Wales, Pelkey's sister, said that the AI video was created by her husband, Tim, and Scott Yentzer, while she wrote the script “organically, the old-fashioned way (no AI or ChatGPT).” This may be the first time AI has been used in a court room setting like this in the country.
