Minneapolis fatal shootings: Police, mayor provide update [RAW]
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara held a press conference on Wednesday afternoon about a 'targeted' shooting in Minneapolis that left three people dead, including a teenage boy, and two people hurt. Authorities are working with the Indigenous community on this investigation. O'Hara also said a man in his 30s was found Wednesday afternoon after a shooting. He died from his injuries. One round from this shooting struck and SVU, going through the back door and passed beneath the legs of two children in child seats, and infant and a toddler. People in the community believe they know what's going on here, and police believe it's a possibility these shootings are connected but they'll confirm this through their investigation. Meanwhile, Frey said the homicides that took place Tuesday and Wednesday are "absolutely unacceptable," adding it's been a "horrible and tragic day."
