MN bill proposes $31 million for teacher training
Education is a massive topic in government, and the Minnesota House Education Finance Committee recently discussed legislation to invest more than $31 million in one-time funding to ensure teachers are paid for the time spent getting literacy training. The bill is being considered for this session?s Education Budget Bill. The bill's author, Rep. Mary Frances Clardy (DFL Inver Grove Heights), explains what needs the bill addresses and how it would be funded.
