SPPD Officer Reilly remembered: Son speaks of mom's compassion [RAW]
Matthew Reilly, Officer Felicia Reilly's eldest son, shared memories of his mother and her compassion. She always had an extra place setting or extra food in case someone showed up. She was compassionate, she never made a promise she did not keep. Officer Reilly died from injuries sustained in the line of duty in 2010. Reilly was attacked while responding to a 911 hang-up call in March 2010. She was repeatedly kicked and assaulted by the suspect, sustaining injuries that ended her career. Her condition from those injuries worsened over the past 15 years. She died March 1.
