'Taste of summer' this weekend in Minnesota
Minnesota is getting a taste of summer this weekend! Highs reached the 80s and 90s this Friday afternoon with the help of a warm front and plenty of sunshine. Therefore, summer-like thunderstorms have popped up Friday evening. The airmass is rather dry at the surface, so these storms should not produce heavy rain, but some showers and storms may produce lightning and strong wind gusts. Chances for rain will quickly decrease as soon as the sun sets.
