Monday will bring a thaw with light flakes in the Twin Cities metro throughout the day and night, with maybe an inch of snow possible over the next 24 hours. Higher snow totals are expected across southern Minnesota from Monday into Tuesday, with winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings in effect for the area.
