Rep. Olson to file minority report on new state flag [RAW]
The commission said it will put together its report for the Legislature at its next meeting. However, Rep. Bjorn Olson and Sen. Steve Drazkowski, the only Republicans on the commission and are non-voting members, said they'll prepare their own report for the Legislature. Olson insisted the state seal is illegal and violates state statute, and said there wasn't enough time to make an informed decision ? he says they should have put the new emblems up to a vote by citizens.
