Maple Grove officer dragged during traffic stop
Dashcam videos recently released show a Maple Grove police officer being dragged nearly 40 yards by a suspect following a traffic stop on Nov. 13. The suspect was pulled over for tinted windows and failure to signal near Weaver Lake Road and 83rd Way in Maple Grove, but while the officers and suspect were chatting outside the vehicle, the suspect got back in the vehicle and tried to drive off, causing one officer to fall to the ground and the other to be dragged.
