Meet the artists: Northrup King Building
Hundreds of artists have set up shop in the Northrup King Building in Northeast Minneapolis and on the first Thursday of each month, the doors to the studios open up and there?s four enormous floors of art to explore. This week, we visited two studios, Allison Johanson, a painter in Gallery Space No. 467 and Chris Rackley?s exhibit ?Life as a Mall Brat? on display now in the Kolman & Reeb Gallery on the third floor. The entire NE Minneapolis Arts District participates in the First Thursday event each month.
