Honoring Black women who have made a difference in the Twin Cities
The month of March marks Women?s History Month, and in just a few weeks a black-tie affair is recognizing 15 African American women who continue to make an impact in our community. The Celebrating the Sistas Awards Ceremony is taking place Saturday, March 18th at Quincy Hall in Minneapolis. Sharon Smith-Akinsanya and honoree Dorothy Bridges joined Fox 9 Good Day to talk about the big event.
