Midtown Global Market celebrate Dia de los Muertos

On Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis is hosting a Dia de los Muertos or “day of the dead” celebration. The traditional Mexican holiday dates back to pre-colonization and is typically celebrated on November 1st and 2nd. The holiday is a celebration to honor loved ones who have died. Many who celebrate believe on these days people are “reunited” with their loved ones who have passed on for a day of celebration.
