Crystal teacher goes on Pastry Pilgrimage
A local teacher has made it her mission to visit every donut shop in the Twin Cities and beyond. Kara Johnson started her donut trek in November of 2020 after hearing a local bakery was struggling. She figured there were many bakeries in the same situation during the peak of the pandemic so she kept it going. She?s now in her 83rd week. She still has about 40 bakeries on her list to visit. Her stop today was From Scratch Baking in Chanhassen. Their donuts are baked and made without gluten. If you want to follow along with her journey you can follow her on Instagram: @Karas.Donut.Treks
