A visit to Fractal Cactus; Minneapolis shop full of curious cacti and creatures
Escape the snow and cold without stepping foot on a plane. There?s a hidden gem in South Minneapolis that specializes in cactus from the desert Southwest. The Fractal Cactus is located on Minnehaha near 38th in the Longfellow neighborhood. The owner sources most of his plants from Tucson nurseries. The shop is open Wednesday through Friday, 11am to 6pm and from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. If you visit on a weekend his 13-year-old pug Merlin will be in the shop to greet you.
