Twin Cities bartender turned entrepreneur is upgrading the brunch beverage scene
A disappointment brunch experience is what inspired a long-time St. Paul bartender to get in to the drink mix business. Charles Lovejoy started experimenting in the Happy Gnome kitchen and created his own Bloody Mary mix. Lovejoy?s products can now be found in more than 50 restaurants and liquor stores across the state, but what drives him is giving back. He grew up in the Rondo community and picks different charities to support as part of his mission. Lovejoy has two flavors of Bloody Mary mixes and a hot sauce with the memorable name, Burn Yo Face Off Hot Sauce.
