As the clock on the NFL offseason winds down, some players are spending their time by giving back. That includes former Holy Angels standout and legendary wide out Larry Fitzgerald.

Monday, he took kids from B Positive Youth Sports on a shopping spree at Dick's Sporting Goods in Richfield.

It was a feel good day for Fitz, before he embarks on a 15th NFL season.

"I'm just trying to make it to training camp and preseason,” said Fitzgerald. “I’ve got to set little benchmarks for myself throughout the course of the year and I’ve got to stay on that. I don’t want to get too far ahead."

Fitzgerald is embarking on a season where he could make history, too. He's only 400 yards away from second place on the NFL’s all-time list for receiving yards.
