Man shoots flamethrowers at deputies serving eviction
A 61-year-old Oklahoma City man is accused of shooting a homemade flamethrower at deputies who were serving an eviction notice at his apartment.
Wild bodycam video shows the moment deputies in Oklahoma City were met with a homemade flamethrower while trying to serve an eviction order.
According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office, it happened at an apartment occupied by a 61-year-old man.

What we know:
Authorities said deputies broke through a barricaded door and went inside the apartment, where Darron Dunn shot a homemade flamethrower at one of the deputies, "sending flames about 15 feet in the direction of our deputy."
Bodycam video shows the flames shoot out from a bedroom as deputies approach, forcing deputies back into the hallway.

What they’re saying: Dunn also had "what appeared to be an improvised explosive device hooked up to a car battery," the sheriff’s office said.

Dunn was later arrested on charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, possession of an incendiary device or explosives, and obstructing an officer.
What we don't know:
Video released by the sheriff’s office doesn’t show how deputies were able to arrest Dunn. It’s also unclear what led to the eviction order.
