Til death and beyond: Couple gets married in zombie wedding

SHAKOPEE, Minn. (KMSP) - For one Burnsville couple, wedding vows are for the living and the undead.

Kristen Scacutto and Sam Svendahl tied the knot -- zombie style.

Friday evening at the Trail of Terror in Shakopee, the zombie bride and groom's swore their eternal love to each other in front of their undead bridesmaids and groomsmen.

For the ceremony, the wedding party dressed in ghoulish grey and black and wore bloody face makeup of rotting flesh and open wounds.

Halloween is a big tradition in Kristen's family. She always knew that wanted to celebrate her special day with Halloween flair.

Sam and Kristen are high school sweethearts and have been dating for nearly nine years. Sam surprised Kristen when he proposed to her last spring.
