ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) - St. Paul police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead and a woman critically injured.

What we know:
Police say they responded to the 1500 block of Edmund Avenue West at about 1:11 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, when a woman called 911 and said she had been shot.
Officers then found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were then taken to the hospital.
Police say the man died from his injuries at the hospital, and the woman remains in critical condition.
Officers say they arrested a man suspected of being involved in the shooting a short time after it happened.
Police say this is the third homicide in St. Paul so far in 2026.
Officials add there is no current threat to the public.
