School bus catches fire at Bluff Creek Elementary in Chanhassen

CHANHASSEN, Minn. (KMSP) - A school bus went up in flames at Bluff Creek Elementary in Chanhassen Friday afternoon.

According to the Carver County Sheriff's Office no one was injured in the incident. 

The Chanhassen Fire Department responded to the report of the fire at 3:10 p.m. No one was on the bus when firefighters arrived.

After early investigation, officials believe a mechanical issue caused the fire.
