(FOX 9) - Though Saturday morning's icy conditions caused a mess on Minnesota roads, many residents embraced the weather by pulling out their ice skates.

Viewers such as Mark Norgren shared videos of skaters hitting the streets on a fresh layer of thin ice.

Some skaters even helped drivers who were stuck, such as this one spotted in Richfield.
