Crews search for missing child along Mississippi River in St. Paul

Crews are searching for a missing child in the Mississippi River in St. Paul.

The search for a 12-year-old boy who was reported missing in the Mississippi River near Hidden Falls Regional Park in St. Paul Monday night continued Tuesday, according to a Ramsey County Sheriff's Office official.

Monday night, the dive team responded to the incident to search for the missing child around 7 p.m. Patrols worked until midnight Monday and said they would stay out until 9 p.m. Tuesday if necessary. 

St. Paul police and firefighters, the Hennepin and Dakota County Water Patrols and a State Patrol helicopter are assisting with the operation.
