AEW wrestler Benjamin Satterley, a.k.a. Pac, dies at 40

Professional wrestling star Benjamin Satterley, who was known as Pac inside the ring, has died at 40, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) announced in a statement Sunday evening.

AEW’s statement did not indicate how Satterley died, and no other information has been confirmed. Satterley had been scheduled to face Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship on Saturday in Chicago.

"A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability," AEW wrote in the post announcing Satterley’s death.
The organization also noted the AEW championships that Satterley had held and offered its condolences to the family.

The backstory:
Satterley was one of the first wrestlers to sign with AEW in 2019 and was a two-time Trios Champion as well as the inaugural All-Atlantic Champion, Outkick reported.
Prior to joining AEW, Satterley had wrestled in the WWE as Adrian Neville. During that time, he held the Cruiserweight Championship twice, was an NXT Champion, and two-time NXT Tag Team Champion.
