MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - An advisory is in effect for Monday morning as wind chills will push to nearly 30 degrees below zero in the Twin Cities.
The advisory covers nearly the entire state, including the metro. Meanwhile, a wind chill warning is in effect for northwestern Minnesota Monday morning
The high on Monday will top out around 2 degrees in the Twin Cities metro but it'll feel more like 12 below this afternoon.
Monday will be our coldest afternoon of the week, though. It will get down to about 10 below zero Monday night, and then climb to a high of about 10 degrees on Tuesday, with a mostly sunny sky.
Chilly for our first day of February on Wednesday but it'll be closer to average with a high of 19 degrees.

Sub-zero temperatures could cause car troubles Monday
Dangerously cold temperatures across Minnesota on Monday could spell car trouble for those who park outdoors. FOX 9's Bill Keller shares the latest.
We'll get blasted again with cold air this week, going back below zero into Friday morning. But things will warm up for the weekend, when we could see highs in the upper 20s.
The average high this time of year is 24 degrees in the Twin Cities.
