The Salted Nut Roll gets a spicy makeover

When it comes to candy, the Salted Nut Roll is a classic made at Pearson’s Candy Company in St. Paul since the early 30’s. But the candy company is trying something new, adding a sweet and savory flavor to the lineup. They’re now selling the ‘Spicy,’ think Tex-Mex flavors and ‘Cinnamon Churro’ which has a sweet red-hot type spice. Come fall, Pearson’s is rolling out two more seasonal options, the Apple Pie and Pumpkin Spice Salted Nut Rolls. You can buy them in stores or on the Pearson’s online Amazon store.
