Man shot, killed by police in Cottage Grove, Minnesota after carjackings, home invasion, sexual assault

The incident began around 6 a.m. in Maplewood. According to the Maplewood Police Department, a woman arrived at work at the Ramsey County Care Center on the 2000 block of White Bear Avenue when a man with a gun jumped out of the bushes. The suspect, who was unknown to her, took her car at gunpoint and forced her to accompany him.
