St. Paul police officer dies unexpectedly at 45
The St. Paul Police Department is mourning the loss of one of their own. Officer Mark Distel was laid to rest this weekend after passing away unexpectedly at the age of 45. Officer Distel was with the department for nearly 22 years and leaves behind a wife and daughter.
