Ex-Brooklyn Center Police Chief Tim Gannon testifies political pressures in traffic stop shooting aftermath led to exit
Former Brooklyn Center police chief Tim Gannon testified, over prosecutors' objections, that political pressure in the aftermath of the deadly traffic stop shooting of Daunte Wright led to his exit from the police department. Gannon had said he wouldn't fire Potter immediately and released the body camera video of the incident, claiming Potter mistook her gun for her Taser when she fired the shot that killed Wright.
