Minneapolis 8-hour standoff ends with suspect in custody

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Hennepin County Sheriff Dawanna Witt spoke at a Tuesday evening news conference after an 8-hour standoff on the 2800 block of Nicollet Avenue ended with an armed suspect being taken into custody. A woman and child inside an apartment with the suspect were safely removed.
