Combatting Parkinson’s Disease legislation package

Leaders with the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) joined Minnesota lawmakers on Wednesday to introduced the Minnesota Parkinson’s Research Trust Fund Act, which aims to establish a “dedicated special revenue fund to accelerate breakthroughs and solidify Minnesota's position as a global leader in neurological research” as well as ban on the herbicide paraquat, which they say studies have associated with higher Parkinson’s Disease risk.
