Coon Rapids considers buying rundown Family Center Mall

The Coon Rapids City Council is expected to vote on a nearly $4.2 million purchase agreement for the rundown Family Center Mall. The 24-acre property includes more than 100,000 square feet of commercial space and could eventually be redeveloped with commercial and residential uses.
