Developer stepping into save historic Sandstone school building
There’s an effort north of the Twin Cities to save an old school building in Sandstone. Known as “The Rock,” it was built in 1901 and rebuilt in 1909 after a lightning strike, but it hasn’t been used as a school since 2004. Developer Meghan Elliott has entered the picture to save the building, and turn it into apartments. She joined FOX 9 News at 5 to talk about the project with Kelcey Carlson and Symone Woolridge.
