Sneak Peek: Joy Zone created for 2026 Special Olympics USA Games
Next month, more than 100,000 people are expected to attend the Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota. To make sure the environment is inclusive, they've created a space for guests who are feeling overwhelmed. It's called the Joy Zone and it's inside a transformed shipping container. The games will take place from June 20th - 26th at both the University of Minnesota and the National Sports Center in Blaine. The space was built thanks to a $100,000 community grant from Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union.
