Ebola outbreak: Confirmed cases, deaths continue to rise

Doctors are warning that panic and ongoing fighting in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are making the Ebola outbreak worse. The outbreak is on pace to become the worst on record, and there is no vaccine or effective treatment for this strain of Ebola, which is responsible for 1,000 cases and 254 deaths in the country as of Monday morning.
