Hopkins plant sale brings rare finds and free gardening advice

Thousands of houseplants — tropicals, succulents, orchids and rare finds — will be up for grabs at a houseplant sale in Hopkins this Saturday. Hennepin County Master Gardener volunteers will be on the floor to help you find the right plant for your space and you can also browse decorative pots and gardening books. The sale is free to attend. It will be at the Hopkins Eisenhower Community Center on Oct. 3 from noon to 3 p.m.
