RFK: Microplastics a ‘human health threat’
Saying the departments are acting with “urgency and discipline,” Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke on behalf of HHS on Thursday, detailing how the department plans to work with the EPA to manage “plastics that have become embedded in modern life.” The new Systematic Targeting of Microplastic (STOP) will create a new $144 million national program aimed at reducing microplastic consumption.
