‘Robust fraud fighting effort’ outlined by DOJ

Saying criminals steal hundreds of billions each year from taxpayers, the Justice Department’s National Fraud Enforcement Division held a press conference on Wednesday to announce the “first-ever national tax fraud enforcement surge in the U.S.” while outlining more than 1,000 fraud-enforcement actions taken in the last 90 days.
