Weekend Event: Tribute experience honoring those who served

United in Service is a new event at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. It will bring together military history, hands-on equipment and a free claims clinic for veterans from Oct. 15–18. It was created by DAV of Minnesota and includes a 12,000-square-foot exhibit, a Tribute Garden with 5,000-plus family-sponsored tags and a Military Experience Park. Friday is for veterans and veteran families. Saturday and Sunday are open to the public.
