Deputy shoots knife-wielding man in Wright County

The Minnesota BCA is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Monticello, where a Wright County deputy shot and injured a man reportedly armed with a knife. Authorities said the man ignored commands to drop the weapon and advanced on deputies, who first deployed a Taser and then fired a gun after the man didn’t stop.
