Blowing new life into classical music: Reaching a younger generation of music lovers

Artist Alex Legeros is helping inspire a new generation to connect with the arts — and with classical music in particular. He actually joined the Army to learn the bassoon, and now he’s bringing that same passion to his community, showing young people that classical music isn’t out of reach. By sharing his story and even bringing his bassoon to events, he’s helping others discover that the arts can be personal, approachable, and deeply inspiring.
