MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - The Minnesota Twins have traded outfielder Aaron Hicks to the New York Yankees in exchange for catcher John Ryan Murphy.
Hicks spent parts of the last 3 seasons with the Twins, hitting .256 with 11 home runs and 11 doubles in 2015. Murphy also has spent part of the last 3 seasons in the big leagues, appearing in 67 games in 2015, hitting .277 with 3 home runs.
