EAGAN, Minn. (FOX 9) - The Minnesota Vikings annouced they signed two players from the Alliance of American Football.
Derron Smith and Duke Thomas both played for the San Antonio Commanders before the league suspended operation earlier this week.
Smith, a safety, played college football at Fresno State University before being drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round of the 2015 draft.
Thomas, a cornerback, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans in 2016. He played his college football at the University of Texas.
