Parts of the Twin Cities metro are seeing some flooding after a rainy and stormy Thursday.

One area in Robbinsdale saw waters rise near Chowen Drive and Lake Drive. Amanda Lemke, a Robbinsdale resident, jokingly called her street "Lake Chowen" after the rain filled the street and partially submerged a car.

According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, 42nd Avenue near exit 12 on Hwy. 100 was closed because of the flooding there.
